HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT FUNCTIONS :


Human Resource is the most important resource in any organization, enterprise and institution.  Human resource management is defined as the processes of managing personnel, keeping in view the objectives of the institute/organization or programme or activities so as to enable them to utilize their full potential and make contributions to attain the organizational/individual objectives.

HUMAN  RESOURCE  MANAGEMENT  FUNCTIONS  :
The Human Resource Management consists of four functions viz., Procurement, Development , Motivation and Maintenance. The function of procurement involves acquiring right people so that they can be placed in right positions so as to carry out the given roles and responsibilities.  The second function relating to development has to do with appraisal of the performance and providing opportunities for improvement in the form of training and development.   The third and fourth functions deal with suitable compensation and rewards and mechanisms or handling grievance and maintaining congenial relationships  among the employees.
